A Case of African Witchcraft: Paralysis

One of the managers here is a highly educated Malawian man, we’ll call him Mr. Phiri.  After finishing the equivalent of high school, he went on for further education and received a two year management diploma.  He later traveled to South Africa and completed a one year certificate program in higher management principles.  Mr. Phiri is no fool.  He manages a team of more than thirty men and is a leader in his field as well as in his community.
